Networking. It’s a word humans use a lot. But I found out the true meaning of the word at the regional meeting of the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) in Philadelphia. Here’s what happened:
As you know, Meteorologist Ron and moi are the weather team for NSTA. At their regional meeting in Philly. we were shaking paws with lots of very nice science teachers and STEM humans.
Posing with teachers from the Charles H. Barrows STEM Academy from Windham, CT. I love my job! Arf-Arf!
Author Elly & I paw-tographed one of my Schmitty The Weather Dog books for Dr Renee and the Holy Angel School in Newark, DE. #fan
I met a pack of teachers from the Feynman School for Gifted Students in Bethesda, MD. We had so much fun talking about the weather and their students.
Susan Gold, top dog at the Feynman Independent School for Gifted Students, comes color coordinated for our pic. Now that’s one gifted educator! Arf-Arf!
We talked about bringing my Schmitty The Weather Dog Weather/Science Assembly to their school. That was Friday. Five days later we were visiting the Feynman School!
Networking at NSTA works! Just saying.
You look up “Mr Nice Guy” in the dictionary and NSTA’s Jason Sheldrake’s pic is underneath. Arf-Arf!
I’ll be at the #NSTA16 in Nashville at the end of March. Will you?
Arf-Arf,
Schmitty The Weather Dog
